3 days Marrakech To Fes via Merzouga Desert

This desert tour goes on 3 days Marrakech to Fes through the desert. Depending on preference you can go from Marrakech to Fes or vice versa.  In between these two cities you will reach the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi by Merzouga.  You will see some of the largest dunes in Morocco, gorges, the date palm oasis of Erfoud, drive through the beautiful Atlas Mountains.3 days Marrakech to Fes

Day 1 -

Our desert tour starts by a Pick up from your Hotel in Marrakech in the morning and transfer to the oasis of Dades Gorge via the High Atlas Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass and the World Heritage Site of Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, one of Morocco’s most spectacular ksour (dwellings) that once guarded the unbelievable caravan route through the Atlas mountains. Continue through Ouarzazate and Kelaa Mgouna (Rose Valley) and leave the main route at Boumalne Dades. Drive alone this ousais valley gorge as you pass colorful gardens, historic kasbahs, and the mysterious and interesting rock formations of the Tamnalt Hills.. Dinner, Hotel

Day 2 -

Our desert tour continues on the second day by a transfer from Dades Gorge to Merzouga via the Todra Gorge (the highest oasis valley gorge in Morocco). You will then arrive in the desert where your guide and camels will be waiting to carry you across the sandy dunes of the Moroccan Sahara. Camel trek as the sun set across a desert landscape, for approximately 2 hrs to reach your desert camp and home for the night: a traditional nomad tent. At your desert shelter, your camels are hobbled and mint tea is served. A simple but deliciously classic meal of tagine is freshly prepared for you by your guide. Dinner ,overnight in a Berber tent.

Day 3 -

3 days Marrakech to Fes Rise early to greet the new day and see one of the most beautiful and breathtaking sunrises you will see in your entire life.  After mint tea and breakfast, return across the desert on your camels to shower and depart.
